Frequently asked questions
You have some questions? No problem whatsoever. Chances are you will find the answer below. We would love to hear from you if you happen to have other heat transfer related questions. If you contact us through the form below, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
A heat exchanger is a device that transfers heat from one medium (liquid, gas) to another medium. The media are separated from each other by a wall.
A brazed heat exchanger consists of a package of pressed plates that are connected by means of a solder joint. A brazed heat exchanger is very compact, and all parts of the heat exchanger are in contact with the media.
This depends on numerous factors like the media, temperatures, flow rates, power and pressure drop. The specialists at Kapp can provide you with a suitable proposal based on these factors. Use our calculation form to reach out to us.
If a brazed heat exchanger is unsuitable for your application, we will tell you. Kapp has practically every type of heat exchanger in its range. We supply plate heat exchangers, tube heat exchangers, fully welded heat exchangers and air heat exchangers, ranging from 1 kW to tens of MW, from 0.1 m2 to thousands of m2.
